The netgear genie displays a computer cd as root. It's just a little tiny USB nub with a detachable antenna. Yesterday, i spent 76 on a wifi adapter from netgear, as im around 30ft away from my router. I got a cheap AC1200 USB adapter at a thrift store for $2 and it worked great, even though it has the cheapest Chinese packaging and no brand name at all.
